When editing an assignment we need to be aware of the timing & impact that any edits will have on timesheets relating to that assignment.
If a timesheet has already been approved and a change to the assignment rates is made, the rate change will not flow through, however, if it is in a pending or submitted status this will flow through and the change will impact that live timesheet.
If an approving manager needs to be amended it does not matter what status the timesheet is in, this will flow through as a change.
If the assignment start date is amended after the timesheet has already been created this will not change the timesheet, you will need to cancel the timesheet that was created with the incorrect dates with the new assignment details automatically creating a new timesheet.
All assignments will be listed in the summary screen, which you can find by navigating to Timesheets → Assignments.
From here you can use the filters to search for the right assignment. On the right side and click onto the three dots menu button and click on edit.
Once changes have been made this will effect any timesheet as mentioned above and moving forward.
