Positions can be connected against a worker and are used within Expedo HR as a pre-set name and structure for functions such as:
-
Reporting
-
Onboarding Structure & Templates
-
Hire (Coming Soon)
-
Global Benchmarking (Coming soon)
Positions have the ability to pre-set at least one, or multiple 'engagement types' reflective of the way your contracts present to the worker.
Positions are a structured way to set up and maintain job roles within your business.
Positions also define the compliance path Expedo implements for each worker and their employment type.
Positions can be used to predefine the onboarding requirements for workers engaged in this Position. This can include:
-
Responsibilities & Requirements
-
Engagement/Contract Templates
-
Additional Documents & Policies
-
Induction Courses, Licenses & Work Rights
-
Additional questions
There is an ability to build these out at a later date and case-by-case where needed for each onboard as well. However, if you have an established business with well-defined positions and requirements, you will benefit from setting up these requirements in advance of your next hire or onboarding requirements so that you can efficiently utilise the configurations and not delay your offer/onboarding process etc with a live worker.
