Before an Onboarding is released to the worker, it needs to be reviewed and signed by a manager.
On behalf of the employer, the Signing Manager can:
Review the material being presented to the worker
Check for and make any final changes
Sign the contract
Release the onboard to the worker
The Signing Manager is assigned when the Onboard is created. This can be viewed in the ‘Onboarding Details’ step within the Creating a New Onboarding article. A user cannot be a Signing Manager if they do not have Manager access rights, which can be changed in company settings.
Notification of Onboard to Review
Once an onboard has been sent for approval, the Signing Manager will receive an email with a link directly into the relevant onboarding screen for action.

The Signing Manager can also access the same review request by going to:
Onboarding → filter by "Pending Signing" → Click Worker Profile
The steps on the left-hand side show all documents and items which the worker will be shown and required to complete.
Items highlighted in red require your immediate attention.
The Signing Manager can follow the steps and input fields as prompted. Typically these will include:
Review & Sign Contract
You can edit the contract text by clicking on the 'Edit' button on the right-hand side (not 'Edit Onboarding').
Note: This will only adjust the contract details for this specific onboard, not any other contracts or templates. Administrators can edit contract templates.
At the end of the contract, click the checkbox to confirm the review and click 'Sign Document'.
- Draw on screen or type your name & select an e-signature font.
Confirm Documents and Release to the Worker
Having reviewed the onboard details and signed the contract, you can release the onboard to the worker by clicking 'Confirm Documents'.
